William Irving was figuring in Carroll's New York City business directory as Gun & Pistol Importers and with
two business addresses. He was also a cutlery manufacturer and seller of household related items (most likely
this was at his Pearl Street address). About 1500 Irving revolvers were made by James Reid under contract for W.W. Marston.
